Privacy Policy

Internmatch ("Internmatch," "we," "us") helps college students find internships and entry-level jobs, get AI feedback on their resumes, and see the openings that fit them best. Internmatch is operated by Allen Gurvits. This policy explains what information we collect at joininternmatch.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version
- We collect only what we need to run your account, your membership and the features you use.
- We don't save your resume. It's sent securely to our AI provider to produce your feedback and matches, then discarded by Internmatch.
- We never see or store your full card number. Stripe handles payments.
- We don't sell your information, show ads, or use advertising or analytics trackers.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored by our login provider in a securely hashed form; we never see them in plain text. If you join a waitlist for an upcoming plan, we note which plan you're interested in.
Membership and billing information
When you start a trial or subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. You enter your card details directly on Stripe's secure checkout page. Stripe shares with us your membership status (for example, "trialing," "active" or "canceled"), your plan, key dates such as when your trial ends, and a customer reference number. We don't receive or store your full card number.
Resumes you check
When you use the Resume Checker, the resume you upload or paste, along with the preferences you choose (such as job type and location), is sent securely to our AI provider to generate your feedback and job matches. Internmatch doesn't save your resume or write its contents to our logs; each check starts fresh. Please avoid including sensitive details your resume doesn't need, like your Social Security number or date of birth.
Technical information
- Cookies: we use two cookies to keep you logged in. They're essential for the site to work. We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
- Usage limits: to prevent abuse and control costs, we briefly keep a count of how many resume checks each member or internet address has run in the past hour. This count is held only in our server's memory.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records standard technical information about requests to the site (such as IP address, time and page requested) to keep it running and secure.
- Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when you visit.
Job listings
The job board shows openings collected from companies' public job boards and community-maintained public job lists. When you click "View & apply," you go to the employer's own site, and its privacy policy applies to anything you submit there.
How we use your information
- To create and run your account, and keep you logged in.
- To provide the job board, Resume Checker and job matching.
- To manage your free trial and membership, and give you access to the features you've paid for.
- To send account emails, such as password resets, and, if you joined a waitlist, to tell you when that plan is available.
- To respond to messages you send us, handle refund requests, and keep the service secure and working properly.
We don't sell your personal information, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Services we use
We rely on these companies to run Internmatch. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase: stores accounts, hashed passwords and membership status.
- Stripe: processes payments and subscriptions.
- Anthropic (Claude API): processes resumes to produce feedback and matches.
- Render: hosts the website.
- Resend: sends account emails such as password resets.
- Cloudflare: manages our domain and forwards email sent to our address.
- Google Fonts: provides the fonts used on our pages.
These providers handle information under their own privacy policies and security practices. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or security of our members, the public or Internmatch.
How long we keep information
We keep your account information while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your account information from our systems, except where we need to keep certain records (for example, payment and tax records kept by Stripe) to meet legal obligations. Resumes aren't stored by Internmatch at all.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correct or delete: email hello@joininternmatch.com from your account's email address and we'll help, usually within 30 days.
- Cancel your membership: go to My plan → Manage billing at any time.
- Waitlist emails: reply to any waitlist email to stop receiving them.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to know what information we hold about you or to request its deletion. We'll honor those requests as the law requires and won't treat you differently for making them.
Security
We protect your information with encrypted (HTTPS) connections, secure login cookies that page scripts can't read, hashed passwords, and access limited to the services listed above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you as the law requires.
Age requirement
Internmatch is designed for college students and recent graduates. It isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let members know by email or on the site before they take effect.
