Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Allen Gurvits ("Internmatch," "we," "us"), which operates Internmatch at joininternmatch.com. By creating an account or using Internmatch, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What Internmatch does

Internmatch shows internships and entry-level jobs collected from companies' public job boards and public job lists, gives AI-generated feedback on resumes, and suggests openings that may fit you.

• We don't guarantee results. We can't promise you'll get an interview, an internship or a job. Hiring decisions are made by employers.
• Listings come from third parties. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by the employers listed, and we don't guarantee that any listing is accurate, current or still open. You apply on each employer's own site, under its terms.
• AI feedback can be wrong. Resume suggestions and match scores are generated automatically. Review them carefully and only include information on your resume that is true.
• Features marked "Coming soon" (such as applications sent for you and interview prep) aren't available yet. Joining a waitlist doesn't create any obligation for you or for us.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Internmatch. If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy a membership.
• Give accurate information, keep your password secure, and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us right away at hello@joininternmatch.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Memberships, free trials and billing

• Starter costs $9 per month (US dollars, plus any applicable taxes) and includes the job board and Resume Checker.
• Free trial: new members can try Starter free for 7 days. A card is required to start, and each person can use the free trial once. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your membership automatically starts and your card is charged $9.
• Automatic renewal: your membership renews every month and your card is charged each month until you cancel.
• Cancel anytime in My plan → Manage billing. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for (or the end of your trial) and won't be charged again.
• Failed payments: if a payment fails, we may pause your access until your payment details are updated.
• Price changes: if we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, so you can cancel first if you prefer.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, subject to Stripe's terms.

4. Refunds

If you're not happy, email hello@joininternmatch.com within 7 days of your first payment and we'll refund that payment in full. After that, payments aren't refundable and we don't give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires otherwise. You can still cancel at any time to stop future charges.

5. Acceptable use

Please use Internmatch for your own job search. You agree not to:

• Upload a resume or information that isn't yours, or that you don't have permission to use.
• Copy, scrape or resell job listings or other content from Internmatch, or access it with bots or automated tools.
• Try to get around usage limits, payments or security, or disrupt the service.
• Use Internmatch to break the law, or to harass, deceive or harm anyone.

6. Your content

You own your resume and anything else you submit. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide the service to you, such as sending it to our AI provider to generate your feedback and matches. We don't save your resume. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Our content

The Internmatch name, logo, Owen the Owl, the website and its software belong to us. You may use them only to access the service for your own personal use.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Internmatch and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund any unused prepaid time.

9. Disclaimers

Internmatch is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise the service will always be available or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Internmatch won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, profits or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll let members know by email or on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use Internmatch after changes take effect means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
